A loan of $1,325 helped to buy ingredients.

Lesly Haydee's story

Lesly, 39, has been married for 18 years; she has three children who are 9, 16, and 18 years old. Her husband works for a private firm. She lives in a neighborhood in the outskirts of San Pedro Sula.

Lesly started selling “baleadas” (flour tortilla filled with eggs, cheese, butter and others) ten years ago but demand grew and they asked her for other types of dishes. This motivated her to sell breakfasts, lunches and dinners too. She opens her business from 7 in the morning until 9 at night taking care of customers.

She’s asking for a 25000 lempira loan from ODEF to buy ingredients she needs to prepare her dishes like meats, vegetables, flour, beans, rice, condiments, etc. Her goal is to increase her clientele by offering a wider variety of food.
