San Francisco Group's story

The women of this communal bank group are from the city of Caacupé. The group is composed of 16 women, all neighbors and friends of this city. They are in their fourth loan cycle of the Paraguay Foundation program for enterprising women and their goal is to be able to reach the maximum level of the program.
Lilian, the president of the group, tells us that she has a general store where she sells all kinds of articles, such as clothes, footwear, knick knacks, stationary and more. Her business has had a lot of success because she has a good variety of products, and that helps a lot. She requests a loan to be able to supply her store with garments and footwear, and in that way to continue having a good assortment in her business, which is the sole means of earning a living for her family.
