Maynor Francisco's story

Maynor Francisco, 18, is married and lives in the Municipality of Morazán, Yoro. Maynor is an enterprising young man who is a farmer, specifically growing rice. He became independent three years ago with the objective of creating his own assets. He gained experience through his father. He has a manzana [Central American unit of land measurement] planted that he sells to mills in the city since it’s a product of fine quality and the earnings he earns through the sale are profitable.

With the 6000 lempira loan he’s asking for he will buy fertilizer, supplies and pay labor costs to do required crop tasks in order to product a good harvest and continue selling to the mills obtaining better profit margins. In the future, he’s planning to increase his harvest and always provide complete maintenance to his crops.
