A loan of $6,275 helped a member to finish stocking her paper store and enlarge it more.

Las Posesionarias Group's story

Las Posesionarias are a support group in the town of Monterrey, Nuevo León. This group is made up of 11 people who have distinguished themselves for being a group that makes its payments on time and they say the key is being a very close group with a lot of communication.

Sandra is one of the women in the group. She is 35 years old and lives with her husband. They have 2 children, a 12 year old boy and a 7 year old girl. They are in middle and primary school. Seven months ago, Sandra decided to open a small paper store in her home. She has stocked it little by little, but she still needs a wider variety of products to compete with the more established paper stores in the neighborhood. She hopes that with the help of this loan, she will finally be able to stock her store with the products she is lacking to be able to establish herself as one of the leading paper stores in the neighborhood. She hopes that in the next few years she can keep growing with her business and someday enlarge the space where she has her paper store.
