Rosa is 33 years old. She is a friendly, good and responsible woman. She is a single mother of an eight-year-old child. She owns her own house that she shares with her child who is dependent on her for his education and sustenance. Rosa is a seamstress. Everyday she goes to her workshop that is located in her house. Her customers find her when they need some sewing work done. She also makes her own designs that are modern and unique. She owns two sewing machines and a serger. She bought the second sewing machine and the serger when she worked in the industry. She has been doing this job for the past ten years. There are some periods when her business is slow. She works on her own. When she needs extra help she hires two workers who like to work and know how to sew. Rosa has always liked her work. She is thankful to be able to design her own creations, as it is gratifying. She does a lot of good work. In the future she would like to have a sewing workshop where she creates and designs high fashion items. She is hoping to own a big store in the city. This is her ninth loan with MFP. She is happy that she has this financial backing as it gives her peace of mind and allows her to grow her business. She is committed to paying her payments on time. More importantly, she is committed to the members of the community bank, as they are a united group. With this request of 2800 soles, she will buy the materials needed to continue with her work. Among the things that she needs are different colors of thread, elastic and fabric. Also she needs to buy some new parts for her sewing machines so that they can handle the greater usage they require.
