Karen's story

About 7 years ago she took a course to learn how to paint ceramics and since then has been working as an employee doing this type of work. Because she feels that her work is poorly remunerated, Karen has decided to strike out on her own and open her own business painting ceramic to generate higher income to contribute economically to her home where she lives with her husband and four year old son.

Aiming to buy everything she needs to start her business, Karen is looking for a loan that will make it possible for her to buy raw materials like paint and brushes among others and to buy a work table to be able to set up her own business making and selling ceramics.

Karen hopes to start her business and continue generating higher income for her home to offer her husband and son a better quality of life. Also, Karen dreams with having a great business and in future be able to export her products and offer employment to people more in need.
