Jipargul's story

Jipargul is 38 years old, married and raising four children. She is involved in animal husbandry and farming to provide a source of income for her family. This business, started in 2000 with 6,000 som (KGS), today yields about 7,000 som (KGS) per month from sales of milk and milk products. Today, her business contains two dairy cows and land measured at 1.05 hectares, where she grows cotton. In order to further develop her business, Jipargul requested a loan in the amount of 80,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to purchase livestock. She plans to invest the earnings into a further increase of livestock headcount.
