57-year-old Anahit lives in Vanadzor. She has been running a sports shoes trading business over 10 years. Anahit operates her business from a small rented stall at a trade fair. Her husband helps her in this occupation and thus they support their family. They were also able to buy a car for their business and to organize their two children’s weddings.

Twice a month Anahit and her husband go to Yerevan where they visit wholesale markets and buy merchandise for their business. Anahit’s son also helps her as far as possible in her business and sometimes Anahit goes to Yerevan to do purchasing with him.

Anahit says that in the spring the demand for her products increases heavily, so she is seeking a 1,000,000 AMD loan to buy a large lot of sports shoes to resell.
