Kuña Ñembyaty Mba´apora Rekavo Group's story

The “Kuña Ñembyaty Mba´apora Rekavo” committee is a group of indigenous women in the Comité de Mujeres Emprendedoras (Committee of Women Entrepreneurs) program of the Fundación Paraguaya. They are currently in their first loan cycle. The group has 10 members and all are very self-sacrificing and, above all, hardworking women.

Clementina is one of the members of this group. She has a business raising and selling animals such as chickens, pigs, goats, and others, which enables her, through her hard work, to help out her family each day. She tells us that her work is a little demanding, since she always needs to keep an eye on her animals to ensure that nothing happens to them.

She is requesting a loan to purchase chicks and piglets to raise. This will allow her to continue working and helping her family.

In this group: Clementina, Cristina, Taciana, Jacinta, Toribia, Claudia, Marina, Margarita, Genoveva, Estela
