Adjoa's story

Adjoa, 38, is married to a motorcycle taxi driver. She has three children, of whom two are in school. The oldest is 10 and the youngest two years old.

Adjoa has been selling teak and reeds since 2002. She serves numerous clients out of her home.

Adjoa has requested her first loan from WAGES to use to buy teak. She wants to reinvest in her business. In the coming years, Adjoa wants to expand into selling charcoal and cereals. She says that she plans to use the profit for the education of her children.
