Adjo's story

Adjo is a 34 year old woman. She is married to a teacher. She has 3 children, who all attend school. the eldest is 8 years old, and the youngest 4. Adjo has been working as a reseller since 1997. She sells yoghurt blended with cornmeal, couscous and water for her customers in the city. She buys her raw materials in Lomé. She works on her own. Currently her biggest difficulty is not being able to keep up with demand. Adjo is seeking her first loan with WAGES in order to buy couscous, sugar, water and a freezer. She wants to invest in her business. In the coming years, she would like to industrialise her activity. She says that with her profits she intends to improve her family's living conditions.
