A loan of $800 helped to buy bowls, plates, and other utensils.

Nina Dieurty's story

A 39-year-old customer who’s married with three children between the ages of 11 and 18, she started selling plastic utensils and other plastics nearly four years ago. She is now on her fourth loan, since the impact of her loans have been positive in her family life and in her finances. She is financially independent. She goes to stock up at the Plastica factory in Kinshasa, and she currently buys in enormous quantities. With this new loan, she plans to continue her business by reinforcing her supply and buying products she hadn’t had before, like plastic tables and chairs and large bowls. She has the goal of opening her own large warehouse of plastic products. She continues to save, and with her profits, she helps her husband realize their family project.
