A loan of $750 helped to buy seeds, manure and agrochemicals.

Ponciano's story

Ponciano, 45, is from a humble family with scarce economic resources so he farms very small parcels. He lives in the town of Mizque in Cochabamba Department. He’s been working in agriculture for 20 years. He grows onions, potatoes and broad beans and also milk from cows since he also has dairy cows of a good breed. Part of his production is used to feed his family and what’s left over is sold in the same place where he lives to merchants from the town of Mizque.

Ponciano is a highly respected person in his community because of his dedication to work and because he’s responsible for his children’s education. Ponciano is asking for the present loan to buy more seeds, manure and agrochemicals to improve quality and increase production thus earning more income and improving the living conditions for his entire family.
