Booku Diome De Kahone Group's story

All five members of the group "BOOKU DIOME of Kahone" are dyers. They received training in this occupation, and created their solidarity group to conduct their business more efficiently. They settled in a space that belongs to the group’s president and where they receive many orders from all over the city. They earn substantial profits divided into six shares, five of which belong to the group members while the remaining share is added to the group’s savings account at the UIMCEC.

The president of the group (in yellow) is married with four children. She also sells fabrics and incense. Her business activities allow her to help her husband with the household expenses.

In order to strengthen their working capital, the group members are seeking a loan of 500,000F to buy fabrics and dyeing supplies. Their goal is to acquire a shop to display and sell their merchandise.
