Sharifan's Group's story

Sharifan is 37-year-old married woman and by this relationship she has seven children: five sons and two daughters. Her eldest son is a worker in a factory on monthly wage. He financially contributes to the family from his earnings. Her husband has a motor workshop where he repairs different vehicles like motorbikes and cars. He is very talented man. His clients are very satisfied with his work.

Sharifan herself is a very dedicated woman. She operates a decoration pieces sales business. She does this work to supplement the income for her family. Her collection of decorative mirrors and vases are her main items. She has good demand for her decoration pieces among her customers. She earns good profit on each piece.

Sharifan has been doing this work for over 10 years and has got a good reputation among her customers for her good range of items. She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for her decoration pieces sales business. She will invest the loan in buying of decoration pieces (mirrors and vases) in larger quantity for reselling. She is hopeful that the loan investment will bring positive financial changes to her business.
