A loan of $1,025 helped to buy wholesale groceries for her stall.

Fidelia Santusa's story

Fidelia is 47 years old. She is divorced and has a 24 year old son. She has a grocery stall in the local market. Fidelia will use this loan to buy wholesale products such as noodles and rice in large quantities and have it stored for when its cost increases. She will also invest in improving her stall.

Fidelia faces challenges in her business such as competition, but she is known by her customers as a good seller and for this reason she wants to accumulate more supplies so as to not leave her stall and have to close in order to go and buy. She will use the profits gained to buy more supplies and stock her stall. Fidelia is a well known person who is hard working and she appreciates the helped provided by the MFI.
