A loan of $1,000 helped to purchase foodstuffs for his store.

Khadim's story

Khadim opened his small shop 10 years ago. He sells foodstuffs. But in addition to that, he goes to weekly markets to buy cereals, tamarinds and other food products. He either puts them out for sale in his shop, or sells them to local mobile sellers. Khadim is 51 years old, married and a father. The income from his business allows him to meet the family's living expenses. As a future project, he would like to increase the size of his shop.
