Edna is 51 years old, married, and has six children.
Edna earns a living by raising pigs in the Philippines. She is borrowing PHP 16,000 through NWTF to purchase vitamins and feed for her pigs. Edna has been raising pigs for 20 years and also earns additional income from fish vending.
Edna is working tirelessly toward the attainment of her dream: to save enough money that she can send her children to college.

(NWTF) is a non-governmental organization established with an aim to help men and women achieve self-sufficiency, particularly in the province of Negros Occidental’s low-income communities. The organization offers its clients a wide variety of products, including loans for micro-entrepreneurs, hospital income benefits, life insurance, accidental death benefits and more. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the reach of these products to low-income urban and rural communities.
