Santa Isabel Group's story

The Santa Isabel committee comes from the city of San Lorenzo. Its membership consists of fifteen women, all of whom are friends and neighbors. They are part of a program for working women conducted by microfinance partner the Fundacíon Paraguaya and see this program as a great opportunity for them and their families to make progress in life.

Felicita is one of the members of the group. She has been selling ice cream for some time. She notes that she started with a small stand, but over time and thanks to her hard work, she has succeeded in increasing and improving her premises. Her dream is to keep her business growing, and for this reason, she is seeking a loan to buy ice cream so that she can increase her stock, since it is now the hot season, and she has lots of clients.
