A loan of $750 helped to buy varied merchandise to stock her store.

Alberta's story

Alberta, 35, is an active, enterprising woman. She lives in her own house with her husband, Juan, 36, and their three children who she wants to provide a better quality of life for.

Alberta sells groceries like rice, canned goods, soft-drinks, snacks, vegetables, etc. Her store is located in her house. She’s been in this line of work for 11 years. Sometimes her husband helps her and sometimes her children do. What she most likes about the work is being able to be at peace watching over her family. What’s most difficult is when the price of her products rises. Even so, this work is easy for her to do because it’s what she knows how to do best.

Now, after having sold out most of her merchandise these months she’s concerned about increasing her stock again and this is why she comes by MFP’s offices to seek support from a loan in order to reach her objectives. Her plans for the future are that her children become professionals and that they have good futures.

This will be loan #3 with MFP and she gives thanks for the support because thanks to it she’s able to reach her work plans. She is a very participative and above all responsible member of her communal bank.

She will use the 2000 new soles to stock up on merchandise for her business so that she won’t lack anything for her customers’ purchases.
