A loan of $475 helped to buy locksmith's supplies in greater volume.

Damian Jasir's story

Damian is 30, and lives south of the city with his partner. He has two children, ages 2 ad 5. He owns a locksmith's shop, a trade his father worked in. As he liked this work too, he has been doing it for five years, in order to generate income to support his household.

His business involves making duplicates of house and vehicle keys, and fixing locks. His goal is to keep his business growing, so that it generates higher income than it does now. His aim is to help his children get ahead in life, offering them the opportunity to get a good education.

Currently, he is applying for his first credikiva loan, which is also his first loan from Fundación Mario Santo Domingo. He will use it to buy locksmith's supplies in greater volume, with the goal of having an inventory of supplies and dealing with his customers more effectively.
