A loan of $1,000 helped to pay back a debt to Fundación Campo, and the other part will be used to build part of a wall for her home.

Dinora Patricia's story

In the photo, you can see Señora Dinora and her daughter.

Señora Dinora is 36 years old, and is a single mother of one daughter. She works in retail, and recently began to run her own cafeteria. Previously, she worked washing other people's clothes, but she took the decision to start this cafeteria business and comments that things are going very well.

She purchase all the products that shells in the city, where she travels once a week on Saturdays. This trip is necessary, because she uses it to settle her accounts, pay her bills, and purchase all the supplies that she sells during the week in her cafeteria. She also uses it to purchase whatever she needs in the house for her daughter.

The loan that Dinora is requesting is to pay back a debt to Fundación Campo, and she will use the other part to build part of a wall for her home, so as to avoid run-off from the rain. With the loan, she will improve the part of her home which causes issues during the rainy season, when some of the rain runs into her house. With construction of the wall, she will avoid the problem. It will also be more comfortable for her and her daughter, with less risk to their health during the rainy season. Dinora wants to build her house completely for the well-being of her family.
