Carmen's story

Carmen, age 53, is a hard-working woman. She lives with her mother, whom she takes care of, and her daughter, Janeth. She lives in her own house in Sicaya. Previously her main income centered around raising chickens. In time she was able to get much benefit from it. However, as time passed her mother became ill; she is now elderly. From then on Carmen devoted herself to taking care of her mother. Her siblings give her money every month for this. As a good daughter, she is very devoted. She still takes care of her youngest daughter who is studying psychology at a well-known university. She is very proud. She works for the local government, and she pays her university expenses herself. Meanwhile, Carmen is not left behind. A short while ago she started raising guinea pigs. She takes care of them with great care and dedication. She now has 400, and she sells them to the customers who come to her house. It is somewhat tedious to keep watch over the animals. That is why she has collaborated with her son-in-law. Her mother has Alzheimer's, and this does not allow Carmen to leave her alone. However, she is steadfast about progressing and triumphing. She belongs to the Sicaya communal bank. This is her sixth loan with MFP. She is very happy because in all this time she managed to get a lot of income. All of this is thanks to the financial support she was given. She pledges one more time to make her payments. She likes working with her communal bank. All of the members are supportive and hard-working. Upon receiving your support she will use the requested money to rent an alfaflfa field for one year in order to feed her animals.
