A loan helped to buy a cow.

Diomaye's story

Diomaye is a man who has three jobs: winter farming of millet and peanuts, truck farming of legumes during the hot and dry season, and raising cattle. He is married and has seven children, five of whom are in school. The diversity of his jobs has enabled him to make enough money to take care of the food, health, clothing, and other needs of his family. He has also succeeded in saving a little so he can finance his businesses. Now, he is requesting a loan of 200,000 francs to buy a cow and start up another livestock raising business. He hopes to build a farm for growing crops and raising livestock.
