A loan of $5,500 helped a member to buy clothes for resale.

Rudo's Group's story

This is 47-year-old Rudo from Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe. She is married and has five children, one of whom attends school. Rudo runs a retail business selling clothes. The business has been in operation for 10 years. She says the main challenge for her business is a dilapidated market place. Rudo has requested a loan to buy more clothes for resale. With the extra income generated as a result of this loan, she will be able to enhance her family's welfare. In the future Rudo is planning to expand and own a clothing shop in the City Centre.
