A loan of $3,175 helped a member to buy jewelry-making supplies.

Ita Yvate Group's story

"Itá Yvate" is the name of this fine group of women in the city of Itá. It was created thanks to the fact that the current chair, Claudia, contacted the program advisor to find out how the Enterprising Women Program worked. Once advised about the program, she managed to bring together 16 women who are now very happily in the fourth loan cycle in the program, in an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual help.

Claudia tells us that she sells jewelry that she makes herself, and that thanks to her creativity, she has very good sales. She defines herself as a very hard-working and enterprising woman who has a great desire to succeed, and to be able to help her family through her work.

She is applying for the loan in order to buy thread, needles, pearls, sequins, and other supplies she needs to be able to continue making her jewelry.

In this group: Claudia, Basti , Silda , Cheni , Gladys , Cinthia , Maura , Luz , Victorina , Cristina , Silvia , Isabel , Graciela , Leonarda , Perla , Maria *
