A loan of $1,025 helped to buy natural fertilizers.

Adela's story

Adela is 37 and is a hard-working woman. She lives with her children for whom she cares in her own home, which is located in Ocoro, Colcabamba. Adela is an independent woman. She cares for her children alone. She grows basic crops like corn and potatoes. She grows them with a lot of dedication, and she is constantly cleaning out the weeds that grow between the rows. On the other hand, there are pests on her crops because of the colder climate that bother them. She tells us that thanks to her good intervention with her crops, she can counteract the problems caused by these dangerous bacteria. Thanks to this, she obtains good profits when she harvests her crops. Now she hopes to improve the quality of her plant food so she can receive a fairer price for her crops. She belongs to the community bank, "Virgen Candelaria," and this is her third loan with Microfinanzas Prisma, where she feels accomplished and happy. She hopes to obtain another loan to continue with her goals. She also promises to be punctual with her payments. She is a responsible and supportive person. Upon receiving her loan, Adela will invest the requested money in the purchase of natural fertilizers to spread on her corn crop, which she will harvest very soon.
