Mzia is 43 years old. She lives in a small village of West Georgia with her big family, husband Levan, two daughters (19 and 20 years old), 8 years old son and mother-in-law. Mzia’s son goes to school and her elder daughter is a student. Her younger daughter plans to enter high school next year. Levan works as a fitter in a local company. Mzia leads the agricultural business of the family. They have a milk cow. Mzia produces cheese and sells it on the local open market. Also the family owns 0.3 hectare of land, where citrus and nuts are grown. Mzia and Levan sell harvested products on the local open market. Total average monthly income of the family is 550 Laris.
Mzia requested credit for renovation of the cattle shed. After renovation, she will be able to keep more cows in the shed, which is impossible now, because of how old and damaged the building is. In the future, Mzia plans to purchase additional milk cows. She will be able to produce and sell more cheese. It will have positive impact on the family's income and respectively their living conditions.
