Mary's story

Mary is 38 years old, a mother of three children. She is married to Thomas and they come from Migori town, West of Kenya.

Mary operates a retail shop which sells a variety of items like jewelery, ladies shawls and many other items. The business is locally known as mali mali. She has been in the business for the last nine years and makes a monthly income of KES 10,000.

She is taking her fourth loan from KADET LTD., which she will use to buy stock of jewelery and different types of shawls to sell. Her hope is to see her business grow and generate more income.
