Mariam's Tujikwamue. Group's story

Mariam is a 42 year-old married woman with one child, age 8. She and her husband also take care of three other people, ages 33, 30 and 22. Mariam is a chips seller, a business which she started in 2005. Everyday, she works from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m. and can earn a monthly profit of about $10 from her sales.

She now hopes for a loan of $900 to buy more items for her business. She will share this loan with her subgroup members, who have businesses in fish sales, café operations, and shop sales.
