A loan of $1,425 helped a member to purchase grocery supplies.

Monte Verde Group's story

The "Monte Verde" group is from a place called Benito Juárez, where they celebrate the Festival of Saint Peter in the month of March. Maria Celinda is married to Norberto, with whom she has five children that are still under her care. She is requesting the loan to invest in the purchase of supplies for her grocery business. She has three years and three months of experience, and it is going very well. She started the store so she would be able to help her husband with household income and provide the most necessities to her family. What she hopes for is that with this small business she can keep working while God preserves her life. The other members of the group are: Flor de Luz, who plans to use the loan to buy and sell clothes; Victoria, who buys and sells chickens; Adela, who buys and sells chickens; and Guadalupe, who makes typical clothing.
