Zoila Rosa

Ecuador
Guaranda, Ecuador / Agriculture

A loan of $800 helped to buy supplies for her farming business.

Zoila Rosa's story

Zoila Rosa, 29, is a single mother but that hasn't stopped her from working hard to get ahead. She and her 10-year old son live in Guaranda, a town in Boliva province.

Zoila is a member of the Nuevos Horizontes community bank. Her town is about 40 minutes from Santa Martha in Guaranda canton.

Zoila is a farmer. She grows blackberries and raises chickens.

Zoila is applying for a loan that she will use to buy manure, fertilizers, feed, urea, etc. She goes to Guaranda every 15 days where she buys and sells everything she needs. The challenges she faces include weather and insects. Your loan will allow her to continue her business.

Zoila wants to buy more land and more animals. In her spare time, she likes to rest.
