Es integrante de la Vrc Nuevos Horizontes, la comunidad se encuentra a unos 40 minutos en la comunidad santa Martha perteneciente al Cantón Guaranda.

JOSE MANUEL se dedica a la agricultura a la siembra de caña de azúcar y mora además se dedica al venta de panelas, mora, también cría animales como pollos y cerdos.

Solicita el crédito para poder comprar semillas, fertilizantes, líquidos para la maleza y urea. Con la ayuda del crédito podrá incrementar la producción. Las compras y las ventas lo hace en Guaranda cada 15 días.

Los desafíos a los que se enfrenta son las malas vías, muchas lluvias. El sueño es poder comprarse una camioneta para poder transportar los productos y para venderlos. En el tiempo libre le gusta descansar y disfrutar jugando boly.
