The Sop Serigne Bara solidarity group has been created on December 15, 2008. IT is composed of eight women living in the same neighborhood and belonging to the same “dahira” (African association). They are friends and neighbors who decided to form a group together. They all work as vendors.
Arame, standing on the right in the photo with her hand raised, is the group’s leader. She is 56 years old, married and the mother of seven. She sells fruits, vegetables and cloth. With her loan, she is going to expand her stock level of fruits, vegetables and cloth to resell. He income will allow her to provider for her family and household needs and also add to her savings at the “banc villageois.”

Le groupe de solidarité Sop Serigne Bara a été crée le 14décembre 2008. Il est composé de 08 femmes issues de la même localité. Elles se sont réunies par affinité et par des liens de voisinage. Elles exercent la même activité, le petit commerce.Arame,debout à droite sur la photo et a la main levée, est la responsable du groupe. Elle est âgée de 56 ans. Elle est mariée et mère de 07 enfants.Elle fait le petit commerce de fruits et légumes.Elle fait aussi un petit commerce de tissus.Avec son prêt reçu,elle veut augmenter son niveau d'approvisionnement en fruits,légumes et tissus pour revendre
