Djatougbé's story

Datougbé is a 45 year old woman. She is married and employed by the harbour. She has three children between the ages of 15 and 9 who attend school.
Since 2005, Datougbé has been in the retail business since 2005, selling basic food products as well as other retail items. She works alone, purchasing her products in Lomé and re-selling them at the market. Her current challenge is not having enough stock to satisfy customers. She is asking for her third loan from WAGES in order to purchase more products to sell. She would like to continue investing in her business. In the coming years, Datougbéhopes to increase the numbers of sales, and use the profits to take care of her family's needs.
