Sop Serigne Fallou Group's story

The Sop Serigne Fallou solidarity group was founded on December 14, 2008. It is made up of six women who are neighbors. They meet regularly to ask after one another's various problems. Their main activity is commerce.

The leader, Diakhou, is 45 years old, married, and mother of seven children. She runs a restaurant, and has 12 years of experience. In the photo, she is standing on the right-hand side, with her left hand raised, wearing a red dress and a yellow shawl around her shoulders.

Her restaurant is located near a bakery, along the road leading to the regional hospital.

Her loan will help her to develop her business.

With her profits, she hopes to significantly increase her savings in order to be able to buy a house for her children.
