A loan of $575 helped to buy animals to sell later.

Jose Ysidro's story

José is 43 years old, married, and lives in the rural district of Mochumí. This area has experienced an increase in its level of commercial activity over the past few years. It is located one hour from the city of Chiclayo.

José has been raising and selling animals for eleven years. This business makes him income with which to cover his family expenses. He raises animals in pens which are located behind his home and, when they have reached a good level of development, he offers them for sale to traders who frequently visit his area.

José would like to expand his business by purchasing more animals to raise and sell, as well as nutritionally-balanced feed. He has decided to request his first loan from Edpyme Alternativa for 1,500 soles in order to achieve this goal.

José is a hard-working and responsible father. Neighbors and acquaintances in his area hold him in high regard and consider him to be an honest person.
