Yuri is sixty-three years old. He lives in village Kolagi with his wife, sixty-year-old Lena. She is retired and gets a monthly pension of 100 Laris. Lena leads the agricultural business of the family. She has a milk cow and produces cheese, which is sold on local open market. Also Lena takes care of a small pig-farm with two pigs. She sells on average twenty piglets per year. The total average monthly income of the family is 700 Laris, including Lena’s pension.
Yuri is a taxi driver. He provides transportation service to the population of his district. Yuri sold his car, as it was already very old for taxi and requested credit. He will add the money he borrows to the money he got from selling the car and will purchase a better one. He will provide better quality service to clients and attract more customers. The income of the family will increase and Yuri and Lena will be able to improve their living conditions.
