A loan of $1,025 helped to purchase a photocopier.

Gustavo Ariel's story

Gustavo is a modest young man who decided to start his own photocopy business in order to earn his own money and become independent. Thanks to this business, he has been able to lift one more responsibility off his parents' shoulders, and he can help out with the household expenses. He has been in business for 3 years. He started out thanks to the support of his aunt, who provided him with his work tool, the photocopier, which she sold to him on credit. He was able to pay the debt with the money he earned from the copy services. Gustavo views his work tool with pride because it is one of his assets. He now aspires to expand his small business, which is why he will ultimately purchase another machine with this loan. His work is exhausting because he opens from 8 in the morning until 8 in the evening. His mother takes his place for a few hours so that he can attend school since he works and studies. One of his goals is to earn a degree and obtain two sources of income, thus affording him a better quality of life.
