This solidarity group was created on June 12, 2008. It consists of 15 women who live in the same village. Their main activity is small retail business. Yacine is the representative of the group. She is standing at the far right in the photo and raising her hand. She is 50 years old, married, and the mother of 6 children. She has 3 other children in her care, entrusted to her by her parents. She is actively involved in the sale of vegetables. She has been practicing this activity for several years and has a good experience in this field. This loan will allow her to strengthen her capital and to better develop her activities. The profits generated from her business will allow her to increase her savings and to provide better living conditions for her family (health, food, clothes etc...)
