A loan of $1,350 helped a member to purchase livestock.

And Jeff Group's story

The And Jeff Group has been in existence since the launch of Banc Villageois and is currently made up of nine women who live in the same village and share common social values.

Mrs. Woré (standing at left in the photo, raising her hand and carrying a yellow container) is the leader of this group. She is 55 years old. She is married and the mother of four children and two grandchildren in her care.

Woré has been in the livestock business for a long time; she has considerable experience in this field.

With her new loan of 50,000 CFA francs, she is going to purchase two sheep, which she will raise and sell at the local weekly market.

Her profits will allow her to meet her personal needs and to contribute to the daily expenses of the family.
