A loan of $575 helped to buy manure and agrochemical products.

Angel's story

Ángel, 20, is a responsible, hardworking young man. He and his brother live in their mother’s house that they love and are grateful to for giving them all the best.

The activity that Ángel carries out is very demanding. He heads out to his field with his brother very early and the two of them take care of the cocoa bean crops their parents managed to attain years ago. He’s been watching over his plants for more than 12 years so that at harvest time they will produce good fruit to sell to the local gathering centers. The gathering center Ángel goes to is very trustworthy since he’s always taken his crops there and they pay well for each kilogram of cocoa beans he sells. His plan for the future is to study in order to have a better quality of life but for now his priority is to see his crops advance in order to continue obtaining great harvests and attaining a good economy to reach his objective.

This will be loan #1 with MFP and he commits to being punctual with his installment payments. He also thanks the members of his communal bank for allowing him to be part of it. He will use the requested 1500 new soles to buy manure and other agrochemicals to keep his crops healthy.
