A loan of $2,050 helped to purchase cattle.

Asyldjan's story

Asylzhan is 59 years old, and has 4 children. In search of a way to support her family, Asylan started her own animal husbandry business in 1997 by purchasing livestock for 50,000 soms (KGS). Today, thanks to Asylan's hard work, her business, which started with 3 cows and 3 calves, brings in about 15,000 soms (KGS) a month from sales of dairy and meat products. To expand her business further, Asylan has requested a loan of 95,000 soms (KGS) from Bai-Tushum & Partners to purchase bulls for fattening and later resale. Asylan plans to invest the receipts obtained with the loan into increasing the size of her business.
