Yelena's story

Yelena is married and has two daughters. She is involved in a small entrepreneurship and sells artificial flowers and small household goods at one of the local markets in her native city of Melitopol. Yelena has been in sales for 15 years. Currently, she has 30,000 hryvnia in merchandise, and her profit is about 5,000 hryvnia. Yelena requested a loan in the amount of 10,000 hryvnia from Kiva to buy artificial flowers and refill merchandise selection before the holidays. After selling the merchandise successfully, Yelena would be able to use the additional profit to expand her business and develop it further.
