A loan of $425 helped to buy palm oil, honey, peanut paste, and millet.

Fatoumata's story

Fatoumata, age 38, has been a merchant for ten years. She's married and the mother of three children.

She gets her supplies in Southern Senegal, usually in Casamance, where she buys palm oil, honey, peanut paste, and millet, that she resells in her town, where she has many customers.

Thanks to this loan, she will fulfill an order from the neighborhood.

Fatoumata does not have fixed expenses to cover, and works in order to improve her family's standard of living. She dreams to be able to bolster her business.
