A loan of $600 helped to purchase women's, men's and children's clothes in greater volume.

Adis Luz's story

Adis lives with her spouse and has 4 children between 11 and 20 years old. She works in a business that she started with the sale of clothing in women's, men's and children's lines. Later she focussed on offering beauty products through specialized guides and her business began to grow. Her children also started to participate in the business, helping her in the promotion of her market. Currently she wants to add to her clothing line, since lately she has had requests from her best customers and she wants to please them to keep them faithful. This is why she requested her Kiva loan in the Fundacion Mario Santo Domingo, since with this capital she will increase her chances of purchasing in greater volume, getting discounts and acquiring exactly the merchandise that her customers have requested. This investment will enable her success, because she knows the market, is helped by her daughters and because she will get discounts and be responsive to her customers. Her goal in the future is to have a shop specialized in clothing and beauty products well located in a modern commercial area, with a large potential audience and cash clients and this dream is the motor that moves her daily work and is her great challenge.
