Wakilare De Sare Bilaly Group's story

The group Wakilaré de Saré Bilaly was formed on December 2, 2002 on the same day of the inauguration of the banc villageois. The group is comprised of 10 women who are dedicated to the sanctity of their work. They are all from the same village. Their main activity is small business. Madame Siré (seated at right) is in charge of the group. She is 48 years old. She is married and is the mother of 6 children. She sells seasonal fruits and vegetables, and has good mastery of her work since she's been doing it for more than 15 years. She will use this loan to buy large quantities of oranges for resale. The income from her work will allow her save money and help her husband with food and schooling costs.
