Alla Thiakhane De Sare Bilaly Group's story

The group "Alla Thiakhane de Saré Bilaly" was created on December 2, 2002, on the day of the inauguration of the Banc Villageois. It is made up of 14 women who all come from the same village. These women are very dynamic and motivated in their work, and their behavior is exemplary. Their main activity is small business.

Fanta (sitting at the far right in the photo and raising her hand) is the representative of the group. She is 35 years old, married, and the mother of 3 children.

She buys vegetables from the vegetable gardens of her village, and resells them at the central market or nearby markets. She has been involved in this activity since 2008.

With her loan, she is planning to buy vegetables for resale.

She will use her profits to strengthen her savings and to help her husband pay for their children's school fees.
