A loan of $1,150 helped to buy two dairy cows.

Martha Cecilia's story

Martha has always been known as a hard worker, and thanks to this quality she and her husband and son have been able to get ahead. Martha comes from a family of farmers so she learned about raising livestock from a very early age. She and her husband grow vegetables and, with the dairy cattle that Martha looks after, they generate enough income to maintain their household. In order to buy more cattle for her land, Martha is requesting a loan to buy two dairy cows.

Martha hopes to be able to increase her earnings considerably because she will be able to sell milk to her customers, meaning her family will have a better quality of life. Martha's goal is to have a large business raising dairy cattle, chickens, pigs, and other livestock.
