A loan of $1,125 helped to buy fruit and a computer for her son.

Lucila's story

Lucila is 47 years old and a hardworking woman. She lives with Romero, her husband of 25 years. They have 4 children, but only live with 2 of them, Efraín and Mía. They are raising them in their own home, located in the community of Chilca. She feels very happy because she just had her youngest daughter, who is 2 years old. Despite her age, she is the light that guides her way. She works very hard to get ahead and her main activity is selling juice in an area she set up in her home. She has been doing this for 7 years and is well known to her neighbors. She also school supplies to parents during the school year. The activity that she likes the most is knitting shawls in different styles and colors. She sells them in a well known commercial area visited by tourists from around the world. She has time for everything, especially for her husband who comes home every two weeks to be with his family. He works in a mine the rest of the month. She belongs to 'La Florida" communal bank and this is her third loan with MFP. She feels that she has progressed, since she has received help to get ahead in her business. She promises to make her payments on time. She also likes to work in her association because they are supportive and responsible people.

If Lucila receives your support, she will invest the money she has asked for in buying fruit to make her juices. If there is enough money, she will buy a computer to help her son in his studies.
